ACLU: At War With America

Citizens United Productions - Not Rated - 45 min.

The ACLU's stated mission is to defend the rights of all citizens as enshrined in the Bill of Rights of the United State Constitution. However, its radical agenda has been criticized from all sides of the political spectrum. Disguised as a defender of our freedoms, the ACLU has for decades been at war, both legally and intellectually, with the fundamental rights and values of our nation. ACLU: At War With America exposes the outrageous sides the ACLU finds itself on in seemingly obvious battles - choosing to defend NAMBLA instead of Megan's law, opposing the Boy Scouts' right to assemble in state parks, and fighting to eliminate restrictions on pornography in public libraries. As ACLU: At War With America demonstrates, it's time for the ACLU to refocus itself on fighting for America, not against it. Followed by Q&A with the filmmaker, David Bossie.

Panelists include Simon Marks, special correspondent for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and contributing correspondent for The Fox News Channel, Allen Keiswetter, Adjunct Scholar at the Middle East Institute, and moderated by Mike Long, Washington-based consultant, speech writer and director of the White House Writers Group.
